‘In honour of our dear colleague Peter Everitt who retires this week after over 2 decades of service. As a lover of dogs, he kindly asked that any collection for him goes to Rescue Remedies. Along with his colleagues, Peter has had it ruff in recent years with all the changes but never bowed under the pressure (wow). He also tolerated some very paw jokes from some of his managers, which must have driven him barking mad, but he carried on doggedly. Well done, Peter. Wishing you the fantastic retirement you deserve! 😁 ‘

In Memory – Ollie Bear
Ollie-Bear was our beloved 14 year old Jack Russell cross who we sadly lost a few weeks ago. He struggled with serious health conditions such as Pulmonary Fibrosis and Leukaemia towards the end of his life, but still showed nothing but tenacious ‘terrier’ strength and gratitude each day, for the intensive, around the clock care and constant love that he received daily at home.

He was an extra cheeky chappy who everyone just adored. He made us laugh every single day and loved nothing more than a big fuss and a nice big bowl of food to devour. He was such a special soul, truly one of a kind and has left a gaping hole in all of our family’s hearts.

My family and I wanted to make a donation to Rescue Remedies in honour of our special Ollie, so we made a voluntary cash donation of £1,000 and also wanted to make sure that his belongings went to a good home, so we donated his beds, blankets, wet and dry food, treats, bowls, coats, jumpers and his medication to the rescue centre.

We hope our donations bring some comfort and happiness to all of the animals who are waiting for their forever homes, and we pray that they find a caring, loving family just like Ollie did.

“We loved you your whole life, now we’ll miss you the rest of ours. May you rest in peace little one.”
