How much do your dogs cost?

There is a question! Cost us? On average about £350 for paid kennelling, neutering, microchip, vaccinations, wormer and flea treatment. Some cost us greatly for medical care i.e. surgical intervention or illnesses. Some dogs stay with us in kennels for a long time, 6 months or more at £220 per month. Now to the heart of the question. We do not have a 'price' per dog', we do not sell dogs. We have to ask a minimum contribution to help us do the work we do. Any contact you may have had with vets or kennels recently will give you an appreciation of how low this donation actually is. It costs £130-£230 to neuter a dog; £12 - £15 per day for kennelling. We are supported by our vets and kennel owners, they become part of our team. They offer us reduced prices to enable us to exist. In truth some dogs cost us very little, but they support the other dogs that cost us a great deal.
